New ETF: Inflation-linked US TIPS

A new iShares ETF offers exposure to inflation-linked US government bonds with an currency hedge Euro/USD.
3 April 2018. FRANKFURT (Börse Frankfurt). ETF issuer iShares expands the product offering on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.

The bond ETF enables investors to participate in the performance of USD denominated US Treasury inflation-protected securities (TIPS). The nominal amount of inflation-protected bonds is protected from changes in inflation. The bonds in the index must have a remaining term of at least one year and a minimum amount outstanding of US$500 million. This ETF unit class uses a monthly hedging strategy to hedge the exchange rate risk between the US dollar and the euro.

The product offering on Xetra currently comprises a total of 1,244 exchange traded funds. This selection, together with an average monthly trading volume of around 11 billion Euro, makes Xetra Europe’s leading trading venue for ETFs.
