New ETF: Smart beta concept for emerging market bonds

A new ETF issued by Deutsche Asset Management provides access to high quality emerging market government bonds with a currency hedge.
4 August 2017. FRANKFURT (Börse Frankfurt). Deutsche Asset Management expands the product offer on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt floor by a new ETF.

The bond index ETF enables investors to participate in the performance of emerging market government bonds denominated in US dollars that meet particular quality criteria. The benchmark index components are weighted according to fundamental data such as per capita GDP or the rate of inflation. The exchange rate risk between the US dollar and the euro is minimised with this ETF.

The product offering on Xetra currently comprises a total of 1,158 exchange traded funds. This selection, together with an average monthly trading volume of around €12 billion, makes Xetra Europe’s leading trading venue for ETFs.
