Macron will gerechtere Bezahlung für Bauern per Gesetz regeln


PARIS (dpa-AFX) - Frankreichs Präsident Emmanuel Macron will eine aus seiner Sicht gerechtere Bezahlung von Bauern gesetzlich regeln. Künftig sollten bei der Preisgestaltung die Herstellungskosten ausschlaggebend sein, sagte Macron am Mittwoch vor Branchenvertretern auf dem Großmarkt Rungis bei Paris.

Eine entsprechende Gesetzesänderung solle im ersten Halbjahr 2018 mit Verordnungen durchgezogen werden. Die Preise seien in vielen Bereichen "ungewöhnlich niedrig", beklagte der Staatschef. Nötig sei hingegen "ein gerechter Preis". Er erwarte, dass die geplante gesetzliche Regelung bei den im November beginnenden Lieferverhandlungen berücksichtigt werde.

Macron verlangte gleichzeitig in deutlicher Sprache Anstrengungen vom Agrarsektor für einen grundlegenden Umbau. Es müsse mehr Bio- und Qualitätsprodukte geben. Gesundheits- und Umweltansprüche der Bürger müssten ernstgenommen werden. Die Branche soll bis Ende des Jahres einen Plan vorlegen.

Der sozialliberale Staatschef machte deutlich, dass er beim geplanten EU-Freihandelspakt mit dem südamerikanischen Mercosur-Bund auf die Bremse trete. Die Verhandlungen beruhten auf einem knapp 20 Jahre alten Mandat - es müsse erneut darüber gesprochen werden. Das werde er beim EU-Gipfel in der kommenden Woche in Brüssel fordern. "Ich bin für gerechten und freien Handel." Mit Blick auf das Freihandelsabkommen Ceta mit Kanada versicherte Macron, europäische Gesundheits- und Umweltnormen würden eingehalten. Ceta wird seit Mitte September europaweit in wesentlichen Teilen vorläufig angewendet./cb/DP/he
